- Sam Altman later refined this to systems tackling complex problems at a human level across many fields.
- OpenAI expanded Google DeepMind's five levels of AI:
- Level 1: Chatbots (conversational language).
- Level 2: Reasoners (human-level problem-solving).
- Level 3: Agents (can take actions).
- Level 4: Innovators (aid in invention).
- Level 5: Organizations (can do the work of an organization).
- Gartner defines AGI as a machine that can accomplish any intellectual task a human can.
- Google focuses on the ability to understand or learn any intellectual task a human can.
- Amazon describes AGI as software able to perform tasks it wasn't specifically trained for.
